Full-Face and Neck HIFU in Ho Chi Minh City: One Session, Six Areas, One Plan
Most first-time clients at Hugo Beauty ask about one area — the chin, the jawline, the cheeks. What the skin analysis usually shows is a whole face loosening evenly with age, with one area simply speaking up first. Treating that one area works, but two months later the client is back because the area next to it has started to show. This page is about the other option: full-face HIFU — and full face with neck — done in one session, on one plan, at a package price well below the sum of the individual areas. It also says plainly when you do not need the full face.
What "full face" includes — and which cartridge goes where
Full face at Hugo Beauty means six areas: forehead, eye area, cheeks, jawline, under-chin, and — on the combo — the neck. Each area uses a different set of cartridges because tissue thickness differs: where the SMAS layer is thick, as on the cheeks and jawline, the 4.5 mm and 3.0 mm cartridges reach the supporting layer; where tissue is thin and close to bone, as on the forehead and around the eyes, only 1.5 and 2.0 mm are used. Same Ultraformer MPT machine, but a full-face session means five cartridge changes, not one cartridge over everything.
| Area | Cartridges (mm) | Shots in the full-face package | Goal |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cheeks | 4.5 + 3.0 (+1.5 for fine lines) | 250–300 | Lift the cheek mass; nasolabial folds soften indirectly |
| Jawline | 4.5 + 3.0 | 250–300 | Sharper jawline, less sag at the jaw angle |
| Under-chin | 4.5 + 3.0 | 150–200 | Tighten tissue under the chin; a fatty double chin needs the intensive combo |
| Forehead | 1.5 + 2.0 | 100–125 | Firmer skin base, slight brow lift |
| Eye area | 1.5 + 2.0 | 100–125 | Outer corners and under the brow; never inside the orbit |
| Neck (combo) | 3.0 + 1.5 | +200–250 | Firmer neck skin, shallower horizontal bands |
Full-face total: 800–1,000 shots. Face plus neck: 1,050–1,200. Whether you land at the low or high end depends on the size of your face and how much laxity there is — fixed right after the skin analysis, before anything starts.
Why full-face results look more "natural" than one area at a time
An aging face loosens like a whole sheet of fabric, not one corner. Tighten only one corner — say, just the jawline — and that corner sharpens while the cheek above it stays heavy; the eye reads a mismatch: a 40-year-old jaw under a 50-year-old cheek. Full face tightens evenly along one lifting direction, from the neck up to the temples, so after 2–3 months the face looks younger in sync — friends say you look rested, not that you had something done. That is why most clients over 40 at Hugo Beauty are advised to start with the full face rather than one area at a time.
The second reason is practical: one session instead of three spaced weeks apart, one numbing, one 72-hour aftercare window, and new collagen forming across the whole face in the same 8–12-week cycle.
Three kinds of face, three ways to distribute the shots
The same 900 shots can be planned very differently for two people. Hugo Beauty allocates by face type:
Full face with plenty of cheek tissue (typically 35–50): shots go to the cheeks and jawline with the 4.5 mm cartridge, placed in lines from the cheekbone up toward the temple to draw the cheek mass up; forehead and eyes get a base pass only. This is the face type where full-face HIFU shows most clearly.
Thin face, hollow cheeks or post-weight-loss: the 4.5 mm cartridge is skipped over the mid-cheek so the hollow does not deepen; only 3.0 and 1.5 mm on the cheeks, with shots redirected to the jawline, under-chin and neck. If the analysis shows too little soft tissue, Hugo Beauty will suggest two or three lower-face areas instead of the full face — details in the article on HIFU and sunken cheeks.
Asymmetric face (one side sags more, usually from sleeping position or one-sided chewing): the looser side receives 15–20% more shots, and standardized photos are taken before the session so the comparison afterwards is side-accurate.
What a full-face session is like
The whole visit takes about 90–120 minutes, of which the HIFU itself is 60–75 minutes for the full face and 75–90 minutes for face plus neck. The sequence is fixed: skin analysis and standardized photos (15 minutes) → shot count per area agreed and energy level (J) recorded → cleanse and numbing cream (15 minutes) → HIFU in the order neck → jawline → under-chin → cheeks → forehead → eye area, deep cartridges before shallow ones, five cartridge changes → soothing and sunscreen. You see a firmer face in the mirror straight after; the jawline feels warm and slightly tender for 1–3 days; makeup for work is fine from the next morning.
We do not repeat what each area feels like or how to check the machine here — the article on whether HIFU hurts and the one on HIFU treatment areas cover that.

The package costs less than the sum not because shots are cut, but because the border zones (cheek–jaw, jaw–chin) are treated in one continuous pass instead of being overlapped across separate sessions. The full list is on the HIFU pricing page. Package price vs. area by areaPrices are listed at Hugo Beauty with no hidden extras. The table sets the three complete packages next to what five facial areas would add up to if booked as five separate sessions. Who only needs one or two areas — and Hugo Beauty will say soNot everyone should have the full face. One area may be enough if: you are under 35 with a mild double chin or a jawline blurred by fat (chin or jawline alone will do); your face is still firm but your neck has bands (neck alone, or the jawline + neck combo at 2.5–3 million); or you had the full face within the last 12 months and want to top up one area. The full face is the right choice when skin is loosening evenly from the cheeks down, when you are over 40 and have never had HIFU, or when the goal is "younger all over" rather than fixing one spot. The 15-minute analysis at Hugo Beauty ends with one of two sentences — "you should do the full face" or "you only need this area" — and the price is quoted before anything starts. Results by milestoneFirmer immediately after the session, most visibly along the jawline; weeks 4–6 the cheek mass starts to look tighter; months 2–3 are the peak once new collagen has formed; maintained for 9–12 months depending on age and care. The week-by-week timeline is in the article on when HIFU results show; real client photos are on the before-and-after page. Frequently asked questionsHow many shots is a full-face HIFU?800–1,000 for the full face, 1,050–1,200 with the neck. Fewer than 700 shots sold as full face usually means the forehead or eyes are skipped or lines are spaced wide — ask for the count per area. Does full face hurt more than one area? Not more, just longer. The most tender spots are still the jawline and anywhere near bone; you are numbed and can pause between areas. How often can you repeat the full face?Usually every 9–12 months. Repeating within 6 months adds nothing, because the previous session's collagen is still forming. Can a thin face have full-face HIFU?Yes, with a different plan: the 4.5 mm cartridge is skipped over the mid-cheek and shots go to the jawline, under-chin and neck. If there is very little soft tissue, Hugo Beauty will suggest lower-face areas only. Does full face include the neck? The full-face lifting package does not. The neck is in the complete combo (face + neck) or the face & neck + intensive under-chin combo. Can I go back to work after a full-face session?Yes. Skin is slightly pink and warm for a few hours; makeup from the next morning; avoid heat and strong actives for 72 hours. Details in the article on washing your face after HIFU.
