Bikini Laser Hair Removal in Ho Chi Minh City: Prices, Sessions and What to Expect

Almost everyone who messages us about bikini laser hair removal asks the same three things: what it costs, how many sessions it takes, and whether the room is actually private. This page answers all three, using the prices we have listed, with no hidden packages and no surprise fees.

Bikini laser hair removal at Hugo Beauty is for female clients only. Every session is one-to-one, in a closed room, with a female specialist from start to finish. Prices start at 250,000 VND a session for the bikini line and 600,000 VND for a full bikini — the full table is further down this page.

The two bikini services

Bikini line and full bikini are two separate services, not two tiers of the same package — you book one or the other.

Bikini line. The hair that would show outside underwear or a swimsuit — along both sides of the groin and a little above. Most people start here, and it is enough to wear a swimsuit comfortably.

Full bikini (Brazilian). The bikini line plus everything inside it. This is the level many places call a Brazilian.

You choose the service, not your specialist. Booking the bikini line now and moving to a full bikini later is completely normal, and you never have to explain the choice.

How many sessions, and how far apart

The bikini area usually needs six to ten sessions, spaced four to six weeks apart, then an occasional maintenance session.

The gap between sessions is not about letting your skin recover — that takes a day or two. It is about waiting for the next group of hairs to enter their growing phase, because laser only affects hair that is in that phase. Coming back early does not speed anything up; it just uses a session.

Bikini hair is coarse and dark, so it responds well. Many clients notice hair coming back thinner and slower somewhere around the third or fourth session.

How it feels, and the cooling tip

The skin here is thinner and more reactive than on your legs, and the hair is coarse, so you feel it more than on arms or legs. Most clients describe it as a warm snap, like a thin elastic band, repeated quickly.

The tip of the handpiece is cooled and stays in contact with your skin for the whole session, taking most of the surface heat away. On coarse areas your specialist works at a slower pace and checks with you every few passes. If the setting feels too strong, say so during the session — the energy can be lowered immediately. Nothing is fixed once it has started.

A bikini line session takes about 15 minutes. A full bikini takes about 25 to 30. You get dressed and go straight back to your day; there is no downtime.

Before your first session

  • Shave the area 12 to 24 hours before. No waxing, plucking or threading for four weeks beforehand.

  • Come with clean skin — no cream, oil or deodorant on the area.

  • Stop retinol, AHA and BHA on that area for five to seven days.

  • Stay out of strong sun for two weeks, and skip self-tanning products.

  • Wear loose clothing, ideally cotton.

  • If you take anything that makes your skin more sensitive to light, tell your specialist before booking.

If you are on your period, the bikini line is still fine. For a full bikini most people prefer to reschedule. Just message us — it is a normal reason to move an appointment and nobody asks for an explanation.

What privacy looks like here

Bikini sessions are always one-to-one, in a closed room with a door, with a female specialist from start to finish. Nobody else comes in while you are in there.

You only uncover the strip being worked on; the rest stays under a towel, and your specialist moves the towel section by section. Disposable underwear is provided, and there is somewhere to change with your clothes within reach. Our article on what privacy really means in a bikini session walks through the whole appointment step by step, if you would like to know exactly what happens before you book.

Who it suits, and when to wait

Bikini laser suits people who are tired of shaving every few days, who get ingrown hairs along the bikini line, or who simply want less to maintain in a hot climate.

It is worth waiting if you are pregnant, if the skin there is currently irritated or broken, if you had a strong sunburn in the last two weeks, or if you waxed recently and the root is not back yet.

Sensitive skin is not a reason to skip laser — it is a reason to start with a patch test and a lower setting. Our article on laser hair removal for sensitive skin covers that in detail.

How laser differs from waxing and shaving

The three methods solve three different problems.

Shaving works on the surface, lasts days, and the blade passes over the same irritated skin every two or three days. The regrowth is sharp.

Waxing pulls the root out and lasts a few weeks, but you have to let the hair grow long enough first, and the pull itself is what leaves thin skin red for hours and produces bumps around the follicles the next day.

Laser works on the pigment inside the hair and does not grip the surface at all. In exchange it takes time: six to ten sessions across roughly half a year. After a full course, most clients see hair that is much thinner, lighter and far slower to return — though nobody can promise the same result for every person, and you should be careful with any place that does.

Aftercare in short

First 48 hours: keep the area clean and dry, wear loose cotton, and skip hot showers, sauna, the pool and the gym. Change out of damp clothing quickly — in this climate that is the single most useful habit.

From day three the skin usually feels normal again. No exfoliating for at least five to seven days. In the second week hairs will shed; those are treated hairs being pushed out, so let them fall and do not pull them. The full routine is in our guide to skin care after laser hair removal.

Bikini laser hair removal prices

Bikini line — 250,000 VND for a single session · 1,400,000 VND for six sessions · 2,000,000 VND for ten sessions.

Full bikini (Brazilian) — 600,000 VND for a single session · 3,200,000 VND for six sessions · 4,500,000 VND for ten sessions.

Listed prices, no hidden fees. Every other area is on our price list.

One session, six or ten — which package makes sense

The price per session is more useful than the total. For the bikini line that is 250,000 VND on its own, about 233,000 in the six-session package, and 200,000 in the ten-session package. For a full bikini it is 600,000 on its own, about 533,000 across six sessions, and 450,000 across ten.

Our honest advice: if you have never had laser before, book one single session first. You find out how your skin reacts, how it feels, and whether the space suits you, before paying for a package. If laser is already familiar to you, a six or ten-session package makes more sense, because the bikini area needs roughly that many anyway.

Frequently asked questions

Does bikini laser hair removal hurt?
You feel it more than on arms or legs, because the skin is thinner and the hair is coarse. Most clients describe a warm snap like a thin elastic band. The cooled tip stays on the skin the whole time and takes most of the heat away, and you can ask for a lower setting at any point during the session.

Can I come during my period?
The bikini line is fine. For a full bikini most people prefer to reschedule. Just message us — it is a normal reason to move an appointment and no explanation is needed.

How soon will I see a difference?
Bikini hair is coarse and dark, so it responds well. Many clients notice a clear difference around the third or fourth session. A full course is usually six to ten sessions, four to six weeks apart.

Do I need to shave before I come?
Yes, 12 to 24 hours before. The laser needs the root in place but not the hair above the skin — surface hair only absorbs heat where you do not need it.

Will the hair grow back?
After a full course, most clients see hair that is much thinner, lighter and far slower to return, and some areas become almost clear. Some fine hair may remain and need an occasional maintenance session. We avoid the word "permanent" because hormones, age and genetics all affect the result.

Will it leave dark marks?
Mild redness for a few hours and small bumps around the follicles on the first day are normal. Dark marks usually come from friction and sweat in the first 48 hours, so loose cotton and keeping the area dry is the best prevention. If the redness is stronger on day two than on day one, message us.
