Hugo Beauty respects your privacy. This page explains what we keep, why we keep it, and what rights you have over your information.

This policy follows Vietnam Personal Data Protection Law No. 91/2025/QH15 and Decree No. 356/2025/ND-CP.

2. Our principles

We keep as little information as possible:

  • We do not build client databases or mailing lists for marketing.

  • We do not use advertising cookies and we do not run retargeting; the visitor-statistics tool we use is described in section 5.

  • We do not sell or trade client information in any form.

3. What we keep

Before-and-after photos — only with your consent (see section 4).

Notes on your skin and beauty goals — written after your specialist examines your skin and discusses what you would like to improve. These notes cover the areas you care about, your skin characteristics, anything you tell us to keep in mind, and the services you have had with us. They help your specialist follow your progress and give better advice at your next visit.

Contact details — the name and phone number you give when booking are used only to confirm and remind you of your appointment. They stay in our call history or in the Zalo/WhatsApp conversation you started with us; we do not extract them into a separate list.

4. Before-and-after photos

We take, keep and publish photos only with your clear consent, and we always tell you in advance where they will be used (our website, Facebook, TikTok).

  • You may agree to photos for progress tracking only, and decline public posting

  • You may ask us to cover your face or show only part of it

  • You may withdraw your consent at any time; we will remove the photos from our website and from channels managed by Hugo Beauty within 72 working hours

  • Photos are stored on password-protected devices, accessible only to the specialist in charge

  • We never allow third parties to use your photos

5. Website and cookies

This website uses no advertising cookies and we do not build audience lists for retargeting. We do not run the Facebook Pixel.

We do use Google Analytics 4 to measure how many people visit the site and which pages are read most, so that we can improve it. This tool sets cookies in your browser (their names begin with _ga), keeps them for up to 2 years, and records the data as aggregated statistics — without your name, phone number or any identifying details.

You can opt out by blocking or deleting cookies in your browser settings, or by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out browser add-on.

The site runs on the Squarespace platform (United States) and embeds a Google Maps map. These two services may set technical cookies needed for the page to display and work properly.

6. Sharing

We share information only in these cases:

  • Photos you have agreed to publish — shown on the Hugo Beauty website and on our Facebook and TikTok pages

  • Website visit statistics processed by Google LLC through Google Analytics (see section 5)

  • Requests from competent state authorities made under Vietnamese law

Outside these cases, your information is not given to anyone.

7. How long we keep it

  • Before-and-after photos: until you withdraw your consent, or 3 years after your most recent visit

  • Skin and beauty goal notes: 3 years after your most recent visit, then deleted

  • Accounting and tax records: for the period required by law

8. Your rights

Under the Personal Data Protection Law 2025, you have the right to:

  • Know what information we hold about you and what we use it for

  • Give or refuse consent, and withdraw consent at any time

  • See and correct information that is inaccurate

  • Request a copy of your photos and notes

  • Request deletion or restriction of use

  • File a complaint with the competent authority if you believe your rights have been breached

Withdrawing consent does not affect the quality of the service you are receiving.

We respond within 72 working hours. To protect you, we may contact you to confirm your identity before deleting or releasing your information.

10. Security

Photos and notes are stored on password-protected devices and accessed only by the specialist in charge. If information is ever exposed, we will notify the clients concerned and the competent authorities within the time limits set by law.

11. Younger clients

Our services are for clients aged 18 and over. Clients under 16 may use our services and be photographed only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the law or our practices change. The current version is always published on this page with its effective date.
